TIME STOPS,
MIND LOCKS,
CONQUER ALL.

TIME STOPS
Fighter pilots are known for max performing aircraft, but it’s max performing themselves to their physical and mental capacity that is truly impressive. From having tons of G force rushing through your head, to dodging missiles at mach 3, the head space inside of fighter jet pilots is crucial for maximum performance.

MIND LOCKS
90th minute, everything on the line, a free kick granted to win it for your hometown. Your mind races, heart pounds, this is all you've ever trained for. The pressure and focus on the pitch can come down to the matter of seconds and the difference between inches of goal-space. Each football player trains day and night for these moments. Everything is on the line. You must write your future.

CONQUER ALL
Designing a football boot with the story and locked in mindset of a fighter jet pilot as if stepping into the boots made no difference from the jet. The design takes inspiration and models itself after the focus that both pilots and football players need and share. This is Mach 3.
by studying the form in the twists and turns of an F 16, I began to ideate forms that could inspire function points

I looked closely at the features and effects of flying at high speeds, dangerous maneuvers, and combat

from break-neck speeds to twists and turns, a pilot's oxygen, blood and mental strength begin to tune into the force and velocity of the jet

as I began to observe the idea of an articulated and discordant view while flying, forms began to develop in my sketching

by taking inspiration and sticking it into synonymous foot shapes, footwear forms began to emerge and take form

heel support takes the warping feeling of a top siding f16 and translates it into a flexible heel upper
